My video work is always a reflection of my experience and where I have come from. My regional experience is both rural and urban and these spaces continue to fill my creative well. Images are overlayed and reflect on each other how beautiful, unfamiliar and overwhelming this experience can be.

Finished a short film, based around my mother’s poetry. I’m so happy how everything turned out, and every time I see the title card I get all the good feelings. I love collaborating with my mom, she’s a fantastic artist and always an inspiration. 
My studio mate, Kami Goertz, and I will be opening our studio as part of March’s First Fridays. My art and film will be on display along with Kami’s plush sculptures.
In the summer of 2012 I married and acquired a new last name. I have decided to reflect this name in my professional work.
